Private Development

The Vista Group, headed by Michael Saltman, has been the most active private developer in the Midtown UNLV project. As the project evolves, other private-sector developers and property owners are expected to be more involved.

The Vista Group and America Nevada Company own the University Park apartments north of Cottage Grove Avenue, a potential site for a new housing project targeted mainly toward UNLV students. The Vista Group's Promenade Center, located across from the Tam Alumni Center, is another site likely to be rebuilt as a mixed-use project.
